Abstract

The presenters tied economic stability to the health of the land-sea continuum across 4,500 km of coastline, reporting a 2025 workshop that catalogued 39 monitoring programmes, 11 databases and 35 institutional actors. Flagship efforts include the €2 million COCOPOL contaminants project and AMUL, which uses lagoon algae as a watershed-health indicator.
