Abstract
Essey described Kudu, a platform that bypasses the multi-year textbook lag by turning field research into educational content in near real-time, with its KAI assistant trained only on an instructor's vetted materials. Independent validation at UCLA and UCSD showed improved engagement and outcomes, especially for less-prepared students.
