Abstract
Wegmann traced 25 years of conservation science at Palmyra Atoll, managed by TNC through its Climate Adaptation and Resilience Laboratory across island, reef and blue-water research. Highlights included 2011 rat eradication, converting coconut plantations back to native forest for seabird–reef nutrient subsidies, and the 2024 reintroduction of the Guam Kingfisher (Sihek).
